Bronwyn “Bonnie” Furrey, age 63 years of Great Bend, Kansas and formerly of Pawnee Rock, Kansas, passed away at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington, Kansas on April 26, 2024. Bonnie was born on June 7, 1960 at Great Bend to Fred and Cecelia (Gale) Furrey. She worked as a metal fabricator for Great Bend Manufacturing.
Survivors include two sons: Dustin (and Christel) Furrey of Platte City, Missouri and Ben (and Ann) Koehn of Mound Ridge, Kansas; one daughter Kelli M. (and Michael) Wintholz of Hoisington, Kansas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother Doug (and Terry) Furrey of Longview, Washington and two sisters: Lisa (and Herb) Phillips and Phyllis McCormick, all of Great Bend; nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters (Gayle Ann Furrey and Darlene Jones), two brothers (Bruce Furrey and Michael Furrey), one granddaughter Mara Furrey and one great-granddaughter Marilynn Galvan.
Cremation has been chosen. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for later designation in care of Kelli M. Wintholz, 516 E. 2nd Street, Hoisington, KS 67544. Charter Funerals of Great Bend is in charge of arrangements.
