🎾 HHS boys fifth at Salina South Invite

SALINA - The Hays High boys tennis placed fifth at the Salina South Invitational Thursday. Colin Clark went 3-1 and finished fifth in No. 1 Singles. Kenny Fisher was 2-2 and placed 13th in No. 2 Singles. The No. 1 Doubles team of Henry Fitzthum and Carsen Riat went 1-3 and placed 8th. The No. 2 Doubles team of Xavier Catura and Kale Schwien also went 1-3 and finished in 12th place.

On Monday, the Indians finished in second place at the Phillipsburg Invitational. Madox Zimmerman went 0-3 and placed fourth in No. 1 Singles. Ethan Dague was 0-3 and also placed fourth in No. 2 Singles. The No. 1 Doubles team of Preston Parr and Mason Schleicher went 3-0 to finish first. The No. 2 Doubles team of Leo Hernandez and Corbin Luck went 2-1  and placed second.

Tuesday, the Indians traveled to Abilene and finished second. Ken Shaffer went 2-1 in No. 1 Singles and placed third. Bryton Unsworth went 0-3 in No. 2 Singles and placed sixth. The No. 1 Doubles team of Preston Parr and Mason Schleicher went 2-1 and placed third. The No. 2 Doubles team of Kenny Fisher and Madox Zimmerman went 3-1 and placed second.
