⛳ Tigers women finish 10th at MIAA Championships

BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Fort Hays State women's golf team placed 10th at the 2024 MIAA Championships this week at Silo Ridge Golf Club. The Tigers finished the week with a three-round total of 1,011 strokes on the par-72, 5,864-yard course, 11 shots in front of Newman.

Morgan Brasser tied for 12th place to lead the Tigers after posting rounds of 76, 78 and 76. The senior tied for second in the field with 35 pars across the 54-hole competition. Shauna Lee was 44th with rounds of 82, 89 and 87, while Hayden York finished in a tie for 45th with rounds of 91, 86 and 82 and Ella Neuhauser fired three-consecutive rounds of 88 to finish 48th.

Central Missouri captured the team title with a total score of 907, defeating Rogers State by nine shots. Nebraska-Kearney's Juliana Botero Molina won the individual title with a total score of 7-over, posting rounds of 78, 71 and 74.
