ELLIS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Mustang driven by Samantha A. Campbell, 36, Holbrook, Kansas, was westbound at the intersection of Commerce Parkway and Interstate 70. The driver failed to yield at the stop sign. The car turned southbound onto Commerce Parkway too fast and struck the guardrail.
EMS transported Campbell to HaysMed. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
