Traci A. Brenden, 41, Hays, Kansas, formerly of La Crosse, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at her home.
Traci was born July 21, 1982, in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Gerald J. and Cindy M. (Stricker) Herrman. She was a resident of Hays, Kansas, for five years, moving there from La Crosse, Kanas. A 2000 graduate of La Crosse High School, La Crosse, Kansas, Traci was employed for many years as a data clerk in accounting departments for two different industries.
Survivors include: her daughter, Madisen Brenden, Hays, Kansas; her parents, Gerald and Cindy Herrman, Liebenthal, Kansas; her brother, Jesse Herrman (Katie), Lyons, Kansas; her nephew and niece, Zachary Herrman, and Adelynn Herrman, Lyons, Kansas; five aunts, Susan Stricker, Great Bend, Kansas, Patty Vavricek, Atlantic, Iowa, Brenda Bendure, Great Bend, Kansas, Kathryn Jonas (Kevin), Hoisington, Kansas, and Connie Stewart, La Crosse, Kansas; two uncles, J. R. Herrman (Sandy), La Crosse, Kansas, and Kenny Herrman (Kathy), Liebenthal, Kansas; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Everett and Margaret Stricker; her paternal grandparents, Elmer and Delores Herrman; and her aunt, Karen Williams.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Kansas, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 13, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Kansas, with Pastor Bryant Rice officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Liebenthal, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the Madisen Brenden Education Fund.
