The Kansas Department of Transportation began work on a resurfacing project on a portion of K-25 in Logan County on Thursday.

Project work will involve milling and overlaying on 22 miles between 160th Road and the U.S. 40 junction. Traffic through the areas where crews are actively working will be directed by flaggers and a pilot car. Motorists should plan for delays of 15 minutes or less during daylight hours.

KDOT expects work to be completed in late June, conditions permitting.

APAC-Kansas Inc., Shears Division, of Hutchinson is the primary contractor for the $5 million project. For more information, contact KDOT Area Construction Manager Todd Anderson at 785-953-6011 or [email protected].
