KAYS Program Director
Scott Boomer has been with Eagle Radio and Eagle Communications for 20+ years. He has worked in a variety of positions. Currently Scott serves as the Director of Operations and Program Director in addition to his morning show on KAYS.
KHAZ Program Director
Theresa Trapp has been with Eagle Radio of Hays since 1996. She is the KHAZ-FM Program Director and the Production Director for Eagle Radio/Hull Broadcasting of Hays. She hosts mornings on KHAZ and mid-days on KAYS. Theresa has also worked with Eagle Radio of Great Bend and at radio stations in Manhattan, KS. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University. Theresa and her husband are from northern Barton County.
KJLS Program Director
Dustin is the Program Director and Morning Show Host for Mix 103. He was the voice of the Area Game of the Week on The Country Bull Y102 before he became the announcer for Hays High School in 2007. Dustin has won awards for both his play-by-play and commercial production work. You can also catch Dustin on Fort Hays sports broadcasts as well. Dustin spent time in Oberlin, KS and McCook, NE honing his skills before returning to Hays radio, where he got his start while attending Fort Hays State University. A graduate of FHSU, Dustin was a Trego Golden Eagle in Wakeeney.
KKQY Program Director & Morning Show Co-Host
Todd Haskell joined Eagle Radio in 2008. You can hear him mornings on KKQY. A graduate of Fort Hays State University, Todd is a native of Kinsley.
KFIX Program Director
Cameron has spent 20+ years as a radio broadcaster in Hays with almost 18 of those years in Morning Radio. Over the years, Cameron has won numerous honors including first place awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters in the Commercial Audio Production and On Air Talent categories. On occasion, Cameron also teaches broadcasting and audio production courses at his Alma Mater, Fort Hays State University.
Sports Director, Voice of the FHSU Tigers
Gerard Wellbrock has been with Eagle Radio since the fall of 1992 and has been the play-by-play voice of the Fort Hays State Tigers since the spring of 2002. Gerard also does the morning sports on the Eagle stations. He is a Victoria native who graduated from Fort Hays State University.
Asst. Sports & News Director
Jonathan Zweygardt is the news director and assistant sports director for Eagle Radio in Hays. He does morning news and serves as the play-by-play voice of the Area Game of the Week on 101.9 The Bull. Jonathan began working part-time with Eagle while attending Fort Hays State University. After graduation Jonathan worked in Oberlin for two years before returning to Hays in 2011. He is a St. Francis native.
Becky has more than 30 years experience in radio and TV news. She started her career with KAYS Radio/TV, worked in New Mexico and Texas, and then returned to Hays. Becky has also taught radio/TV classes at Fort Hays State University and Eastern New Mexico University. She is a native of Dodge City.
Eagle Radio News
James Bell began with Eagle Communications as a reporter for Hays Post in the summer of 2015 after a brief stint as an instructor of Informatics and News Director at Fort Hays State University. A long time Hays resident James received a degree in Political Science from Fort Hays State University in 2007 and a Master’s in 2013. When not working James spends time with his two young children.
