The Tigers led by as many as 38 in the first half before settling for a 55-22 lead at the break. The Tigers pushed the lead to 44 in the second half before the Threshers went on a 27-10 to close the gap late.
Fort Scott Community College transfer James Fleming hit 6-of-7 three-point attempts and was 8-for-10 from the floor and led the Tigers with 22 points. Jared Tadlock, a transfer from Miami (Ohio) University went 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and added 19 points. Dwayne Brunson scored 11 and Tomislav Gabric added 10. Achoki Moikobu dished out 10 assists with Craig Nicholson adding seven.
FHSU shot 52-percent from the floor including 14-of-27 from 3-point range. They did struggle from the foul line where they were just 12-of-20.
The Tigers close out their exhibition schedule Tuesday at No. 6 Kansas.
