RUSSELL COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Sunday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by David R. Woods, 73, Rush Center, was southbound on 192nd Street approaching Walters Road.
The driver lost control of the motorcycle while trying to negotiate the curve westbound. The motorcycle came to rest in the west ditch. EMS transported Woods to Russell Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet but was wearing eye protection at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
