⛳ HHS finishes ninth at own Bob Blazer/HHS Invite

HAYS – The Hays High boys golf team shot a 377 and finished in ninth place at their own Bob Blazer/Hays High Invitational Monday at the Smoky Hill Country Club. Manhattan won the team title with a 314, Washburn Rural finished second with a 317 and Sacred Heart third with a 321.

Braiden Bickle had the Indians low round of 93 and placed 38th. Caleb Thompson and Truman Johnson both had rounds of 94 and Trey Oakley fired a 96.

Washburn Rural’s Tanner Kasprznk won the individual title in a playoff over Dodge City’s Aiden Robinson and Sacred Heart’s Michael Matteucci. All three shot a 3-over-par 74.
