🥎 Monarchs cruise to pair of wins over Pratt Skyline

HAYS – The TMP-Marian softball team continued their 10-game homestand with a pair of run-rule wins over Pratt-Skyline Tuesday. The Monarchs won by scores or 14-0 and 15-0. They have now won three-straight and five of their last six and have outscored their last three opponents 46-0. TMP is now 9-3 on the season.

Game 1: TMP-Marian 14, Pratt-Skyline 0 (5 innings) The Monarchs scored four runs in the bottom of the first then added six in the third and four more in the fourth.

Halle Dreliing and Brooke Koeningsman both doubled and scored in the first.

Dreiling and and Raegan Allen both had three of the Monarchs 12 hits. Molly Helget drove in three runs.

Brynn Rebel (4-2) pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and three walks for the win.

Game 2: TMP-Marian 15, Pratt-Skyline 0 (3 innings) Like they did in game one, the Monarchs struck for four runs in the first then added three in the second and eight in the third. The Monarchs first four batters reached safely with doubles from Hannah Rose and Brynn Rebel and singles from Halle Dreiling and Brooke Koeningsman. Bria Windholz added a double later in the inning.

Koeningsman doubled followed by a home run from Bridget Feldt in the second.

TMP sent 11 to the plate in the decisive third inning.

Koeningsman had three hits and three RBIs, Dreiling added two hits and also drove in three.

Bria Windholz (5-1) pitched a three-inning no-hitter with four strikeouts and one walk.
