KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement and railroad officials are on the scene of a train derailment early Sunday.

At 12:40am deputies were dispatched the derailment involving a Union Pacific train on 87th street, near Colbern, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.

&nbsp;The engine car pulling the train derailed. There are no hazardous materials in box cars, according to Forte'.&nbsp; The engineer and conductor sustained minor injuries. Special agents from Union Pacific are investigating.&nbsp; Check the Post for additional details as they become available.
