ELLIS — Doug and Jill Shaw have generously donated $25,000 to establish an endowed scholarship fund through the Community Foundation of Ellis.
The fund, named the "Outstanding Senior in Math and Science Award Winner Scholarship," aims to provide ongoing support for students of Ellis High School (EHS) excelling in mathematics and science fields, pursuing higher education. This significant contribution reflects the Shaw family's deep appreciation for the educational opportunities and support received from the Ellis community and school system.
"We are very appreciative of the education and support our kids received from the Ellis community and school system," said Doug and Jill Shaw. "We are happy to be able to help support EHS students as they continue their education."
