DOUGLAS COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a hit-and-run incident in Lawrence. 

On Monday, the driver of a vehicle captured on security camera struck a 74-year-old woman and a dog at 23rd and Barker in Lawrence, according to Lawrence Police. The woman has critical injuries, and the dog was killed. The driver never stopped. Police need the public’s help identifying the driver.
