McPHERSON - The Hays High boys tennis team finished second at the McPherson Invitational Wednesday. The tournament was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was pushed back a day due to weather.
Colin Clark went 3-1 and finished third in No. 1 Singles. Ken Shaffer was 2-2 and placed fourth in No. 2 Singles.
The No. 1 Doubles team of Xavier Catura and Kale Schwien went 2-2 and placed sixth. Kaiden Bunger and Carsen Riat also went 2-2 at No. 2 Doubles and placed 10th.
The Indians travel to Topeka for the Washburn Rural Tournament on Saturday.
