Warm Saturday, with a chance of thunderstorms

FileStrong to severe thunderstorms are possible across central and portions of southwest Kansas late this afternoon into tonight. The main threats will be quarter to golf ball size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.

Otherwise, partly sunny today with a high in the 90’s and an overnight low in the mid 60’s.

Mild and dry conditions are expected Sunday through Tuesday with highs in the upper 80’s, with the next chance for precipitation coming Wednesday.

Today: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Light southeast wind becoming south 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Light north wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the morning.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. North northeast wind 6 to 9 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
