Hays High soccer wins 7th straight

NCKTech LOCAL SPORTS BANNER USE TFNThe Hays High girls’ soccer team made it seven wins in-a-row blanking Great Bend 5-0 Monday afternoon.

Freshman Tressa Becker gave the Indians a 1-0 lead with a first-half goal.

In the second half Brooke Russell put the Indians up 2-0 with 31:51 to play. Courtney Molleker, Lacey Pfannenstiel and Reagan Kaiser added second half goals as well.

Pfannenstiel had three assists and Blair Street also added an assist.

The Indians who move to 8-2 overall and 6-0 in the Western Athletic Conference.

Hays High plays TMP on Thursday.
