Water Festival scheduled for Thursday in Ellis (VIDEO)

ELLIS — The city of Ellis has banned all outdoor watering as it looks for additional water supplies.  To educate residents how to better conserve water, the city will host a Water Festival Thursday at Ellis High School.

Fort Hays State University Leadership Studies student Valerie Ramage is one of the organizers:

The Ellis Water Festival also will include rain barrels. The free event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
