FHSU’s online MBA programs ranked among most affordable

Online master of business administration programs at Fort Hays State University have been ranked No. 13 by GetEducated.com among 124 regionally accredited colleges, offering a total of 208 different online MBAs.
The ranking covers FHSU’s online M.B.A. offerings in computer networking; finance; general business; health and human performance and sports management; health care management; human resource management; information assurance; international business; leadership studies; management information systems; marketing; and tourism and hospitality management.
For this ranking, GetEducated computed an average cost across a school’s total package of online MBA offerings. FHSU’s cost was pegged at $13,600, compared to No. 1 Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, $6,389; No. 2 Wayne State College, Wayne, Neb., $8,250; and No. 3 Amberton University, Garland, Texas, $8,712.
FHSU currently offers, through its Virtual College, 10 master’s degree programs and 27 bachelor’s programs completely online, with three other programs that require on-campus participation. To earn a Best Buy from GetEducated, a college’s online learning program must be found, by independent reviewers, to offer high-quality instruction while objectively costing less than the average of all of the reviewed degree programs.
In addition to its ranking on GetEducated’s MBA Regionally Accredited listing, FHSU has two other master’s programs ranked No. 1 in affordability on GetEducated’s Best Buy listing:
• The master of professional studies in public health administration, ranked in GetEducated’s Online Masters of Public Health category.
• The master of professional studies in human resource management, ranked in GetEducated’s Online Masters of Human Resource category.
FHSU’s master of professional studies in Web development has a No. 2 affordability ranking from GetEducated in the Online Masters in Computer Science and IT category.
The university’s online MBA in human resource management comes in at No. 6 on GetEducated’s Online Masters of Human Resource category.
