Let me guess… The other 9 were

    1. Getting shot in Wichita!
    2. Getting stabbed in Kansas City!
    3. Getting mugged in Topeka!
    4. Buying meth in Salina!
    5. Applying for welfare in Hutchinson!
    6. The “Great” Mall of the Great Plains in Olathe!
    7. Shopping on chestnut street in Hays!
    8. Taking a tour of national beef in Dodge city!
    9. Taking a tour of national beef in Liberal!
    10. Stopping for gas in Goodland!

I’d like to see those tourists call us boring now!!

I love Hays being praised and advertised for but there really isn’t anything in the Chestnut Street district for visitors to get excited about. There’s more restaurants than stores and the stores that are available are expensive and only good for wasting time to see what’s available. I have gone to the Ellis Co. museum at least once a year since 2009 and I think everyone should because it has great information on local history and i would recommend a visitor to see it too but I’m sure theyd rather go to Sternberg for the animatronics and reptiles…
