KFIX Rock News: Def Leppard Guitarist Makes EP Of Side Project Available

maninManraze – the side project of Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen and Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook – is only a few days away from releasing its new EP, I Surrender, but the band is allowing fans to listen to the project ahead of the launch date.

You can check out a stream of every song from the upcoming release now at RollingStone.com.

I Surrender will arrive at all the usual outlets on Tuesday, November 12.

The record features three tracks: “I Surrender,” “All I Wanna Do” and a live version of “Connected.”  Collen says he’s especially proud of the EP’s title track, which features influences from some of the biggest names in rock.

“The whole concept of Manraze has always been doing exactly what we want, and that involves being quite diverse,” he tells Rolling Stone.

“‘I Surrender’ represents that diversity.  I’ve been told that this song sounds like a combination of The Police, Pink Floyd, The Sex Pistols and Def Leppard.  I take that as a compliment.”
