KFIX Rock News: New Boston Song Online Now

Boston.Life Love & Hope.12-13Boston’s new studio album, Life, Love & Hope, won’t be released until December 3, but fans can enjoy a nice preview of the record online now.  A video featuring the album’s entire first single and lead track, “Heaven on Earth,” has been posted on Frontiers Records’ official YouTube channel.

The clip features the Life, Love & Hope cover art as well as some details about the record, which will be Boston’s first studio effort since 2002′s Corporate America.  The song boasts powerful vocals and soaring guitar licks reminiscent of the group’s classic 1970s and ’80s material.

In addition, audio clips of all of the songs featured on the new album can be heard at Boston’s official website, BandBoston.com.  The site even offers a segment of the tune “Te Quiero, Mia,” a track that will be available as part of the version of Life, Love & Hope sold exclusively at Best Buy stores.

As previously reported, the album will feature lead vocals by several singers, including original Boston frontman Brad Delp, who committed suicide in 2007.  Also contributing their voices to the record are the group’s mastermind, guitarist Tom Scholz, former Boston bassist Kimberly Dahme and current members Tommy DeCarlo and David Victor, the latter of whom sings “Heaven on Earth.”
