Kansas woman injured in Wednesday crash

KHPA woman was injured in an unusual Wednesday morning accident involving a deer.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol fifty-one year old Craig A. Beran of Claflin was driving a 2010 Ford F150 west on K4, six miles west of Claflin on and hit a deer that came out of south ditch.

The deer went airborne and struck a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Natasha R. Bruning age 21 of Ellsworth.

She was transported to the hospital in Hoisington. Beran was not injured. They were both wearing seat belts.
