High School State Golf

http://www.horizonappliance.com/The high school girl’s golf season came to an end Monday with State Tournaments across the state. At the 5A State tournament in Wichita at the Tex Consolver Golf Course, the Hays High Indians finished 8th as a team.

The Indians combined for a 393. The Indians shot a 205 on the front nine and a 188 on the back nine.

Lexie Schaben led the way for the Indians with a 94, tied for 21st and Katie Brungardt finished in a tied for 27th with a 96.

Kaupaun Mt. Carmel won the team championship with a 360 and Alisa Kim from Salina Central shot a 77 and was the individual champion.

At the 3A state tournament at South wind County Club in Garden City, TMP-Marian’s Monica Michaud finished 23rd with a 106 and Hannah Michaud finished with a round of 128.
