NW Kansas man injured in truck accident

A Northwest Kansas man was injured in a truck accident on Tuesday.  KHP

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Forty-four year old Marlin Anthony Hackney of Oberlin was driving a 1993 Ford truck eastbound on U36 4.5 miles east of Oberlin when the passenger side front tire blew out. The truck traveled off the roadway to the right, and over turned in the south ditch.

Hackney was transported to the hospital in Decatur County Hospital. He was wearing a seat belt. A passenger in the vehicle Wayne Benson Hackney age 47 of Oberlin was not injured. He was not wearing a seat belt.
