Man injured in Western Kansas Semi-Truck Accident

A Saturday semi- truck accident sent one man to the hospitalKHP

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Fifty-three year old Dale Dalton of Maysville, Kentucky was driving a 1998 Freightliner Semi Truck eastbound on K96 in Greely County. The truck, pulling an unloaded 1995 Barret trailer, drove into south ditch for short distance. The driver attempted to return to the roadway, drove through both lanes of traffic and into north ditch.

The driver’s side of the truck hit the ground and then bounced back up and came to rest standing up on all wheels.  Dalton was transported to the hospital in Tribune. He was not wearing a seat belt.
