KFIX Rock News: Pink Floyd Fan jailed For Loud Late-Night Album Sessions

floydPaul Foster, a U.K. Pink Floyd fan, has been jailed for being a neighborhood nuisance after repeatedly blasting the band’s albums late at night.

Neighbors claim the 51 year-old Foster would often leave his stereo on all night blasting albums such as “Dark Side of The Moon”, “The Wall” and“Wish You Were Here”.

The current jail stay marks the fifth time Foster has found himself in the situation.

Foster first went before the courts in September last year but then breached an “undertaking to his future conduct” agreement on October 4th and December 1st of 2012.

On January 17th,2013, he was sentenced to 21 days in jail, suspended for one year, and also served with an injunction banning him from causing nuisance noise.

On February 22nd, Foster breached the injunction. He was then jailed for 63 days on March 20 when he admitted further breaches.

Foster’s current sentence is for 28 days.
