Thank you HaysPost for the mug shots once again. Yes it is a bit harsh to show pics of those charged in the community with crimes, but it has taken public humility for several persons I know to wake up and seek help for their issues/addictions. If it takes a bit of public humility which we all forget about in a short time then so be it!

  • Mary

How come Hays Post does not post the mug shots of everybody??

    • Uncle Thomas

Good question Mary! That question has been asked multiple times…without response.

    • HaysPost

Not every photo is available at the time the report is published. Thank you for your interest.

      • Uncle Thomas

Thank you for the response…makes no sense, but thank you! I would think living in a digital world all information would be instantaneous.

        • Hays

Where would we be without uncle Thomas, policing the pages if hays post with his right and need to know, never wrong about anything

          • Uncle Thomas

Thank you for the compliment “Hays”. To many of you have grown up in a “feel good society”…everyone must place, no one comes in last. No accountability, No responsibility, everyone believes what people say…all in fine.
I would imagine your mommy wore the pants and daddy never gave you a good spanking…time outs?

Thank you Hays Post for the informative response.

  • Mugshots

Some charges do not require the person being booked in…so there wouldn’t be a mugshot. But if there is a mugshot they should all be posted, not just a few.

From a personal standpoint it would suck having your picture slapped up on the website for a petty charge. In my case personally I was arrested for driving on suspended on main st in the middle of the week and I checked the arrest log everyday for a while and not only was my name not on the arrest log but neither was my picture and honestly I was very glad. I didn’t want anyone seeing my name or picture and having a reason to scrutinize me further for my crime. So to those that think all pictures should be posted…..think about the people that have gotten petty charges and did have their mug shot posted online for god and everyone to see. I can only imagine it would be humiliating. But the people that have committed more serious crimes yes people in the community should be aware of those people. Thanks for the opportunity to post my comment for others to read.

i’ll leave this one for chris and uncle thomas

Do you feel differently on the subject of people who commit petty crimes mug shots being posted on a local website for everyone to see them and then be able to trash talk the ppl that pictures are posted? I mean really come on. It’s bad enough that anyone can comment on here either positive or negative with only knowing the information provided and maybe no the whole story or circumstances. It’s already embarrassing enough to have gotten arrested for whatever on top of having you mug shot and description of crime committed posted online for the local community and everyone in cyberspace to see?

did you know that your license was suspended? if so why were you driving, it is against the law, soooo you should have your picture on here because you knowingly broke the law.
