It is great that drunk or unsafe people can get a FREE ride home. I guess they give the free rides away by charging the elderly and disabled a $1.50 for each time they step on the bus. They are however allowed to ride for free on the above times and days. I just don’t see to many grandmas trolling the bars at 1am.

Looks like there’s too many drunks in Hays… Could have something to do with all the liquor stores! I’ve always said Hays has WAY too many drunks!!! Attack the PROBLEM, not the solution (to drunk driving)!!!

    • Heh.

At least people who are intoxicated can get a ride instead of driving drunk and hurting people. And FHSU pays for safe ride. You idiot.

    • Heh.

This was meant for Hays resident, not Runner

FHSU pays for the safe ride, and access is not just for the elderly and handicapped. it is Public transportation, anybody can ride it. i save $9,000 a year not owning a car and by taking access and safe ride to work and the store. More people should utilize this public transportation, it might get more stupid drivers off the streets.

Are you saying you are a “stupid driver”?

Runner, give me a break. Too many liquor stores = more drinking. That’s like saying more grocery stores = more eating. Get off the soapbox. The program is a success.

  • Great Idea

I think what they are doing is a great idea. The people that happen to be drunk and use it, I give you props. You are saving several lives this way!!
