Where was her High School coach????? One would think that the coach would be there to support one of the best players in her program. Hmmmmm??

Simpson, that is a good question. I was ill on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was very disappointed to miss Katelyn’s big day. When our athletic director told me she was signing I was very happy for Katelyn as I am for all kids who sign to play at the next level. She will be a fantastic addition to the KU Softball program. Also, Katelyn is not just one of the best players in MY program. She is arguable the best player in the history of Hays High Softball. We have been lucky to have one of the top players in the state of Kansas. Definitely one of Hays’ best softball players and athletes. She will have a great college career.
