KHAZ Real Country Music News: Josh Thompson Selected as NRA Country’s July Artist of the Month

Josh Thompson has been selected as the NRA Country Artist of the Month for July.  NRA Country chose Josh because of his commitment to the great outdoors.  In fact, Josh took that love of nature to the extreme at one point.

He says, “Before I moved to Nashville, I took a wilderness course where I lived entirely off the land for 9 months.  During that time I gained a deep appreciation for our beautiful land and freedom in this country.”

As Independence Day approaches, Josh is also sending a shout out to the U.S. military as part of his NRA Country affiliation.

“I’m eternally grateful to those who fight to protect that freedom every day,” Josh says.
